Named for the Dolmens or Menhirs found here, “Pierrefitte” (or “Pièce Fitte”) is located near the boundary with Volnay, on the hilltop at an altitude of almost 325 metres. A wine for keeping, it needs several years of ageing to fully express its personality, revealing notes of black fruits and spices with a silky tannin structure. To be cellared for 5–10 years.
